The way my magazine uses conventions from a real media product is the way i put my title in the top left corner. I did this because if the magazine is on a shelf with other magazines overlapping, you can still see the title of my magazine. I also included a barcode in my magazine which is a main factor of a real magazine. my contents includes information of what is inside the magazine also. My media product represents my target audience by social groups from the big bold writing which stands out to grab the students attention. The content as well as the layout and colours of my magazine makes my magazine very clear how my magazine is aimed at college students. the media institution that may distribute my product maybe the college reception or college comity/student union. i think this because y product would be given out free and would need to be available to students. the audience of my product would most definately be the students of the college. The way i would address the audience about my magazine would be by promoting it around the college. 
i learnt various different skills on photoshop by constructing this product from laying things out as well as changing contrasts and colours of photographs and giving text different effects and strokes. 
overall this has been a very productive project for me.
